The Kitchen & Bath Channel is an expanding suite of marketing tools for the Kitchen & Bath and Remodeling Professionals, while simultaneously a suite of research and education tools for the homeowner.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel currently consists of a YouTube Channel, a Facebook page, a Twitter feed, a research-based website directory and Smart Phone apps for the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms.
We understand the technology, we know how to market for the kitchen and bath professional, we have absorbed the cost of development and our business model is to provide kitchen and bath professionals access to all of it – as it changes. We will keep up with the changes, the technology and the best practices so you don’t have to. You concentrate on design, we’ll concentrate on driving customers to your business!
In fact, this new website was designed to offer you additional SEO support. As a subscriber, you receive a full profile page that is fully searchable by Google and other search engines, in the same way your Facebook and LinkedIn profiles are searched. Your [Platinum/Spotlight] profile can include up to a 300 word description of your company, your logo, images, videos, links back to your website, Facebook page, twitter account, blog postings and more – all in an effort to make you more visible to your customer.
You Can Expect:
We have found that when a Spotlight Professional Member has a completed profile, there is very little need for the homeowner/visitor to click-through to your actual website, as the profile page acts as a secondary (and in some cases, primary) website. A complete profile page contains a company description, contact information, links to social media sites, project photos and videos, directions to the business and more. Therefore, as with your current website, a client telling you they found you on the internet could very well be from the Kitchen & Bath Channel. Visits to your Kitchen & Bath Channel profile page (stats available through individual arrangement) are your best indicator of your return on investment.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel Spotlight member profile is designed to be indexed by all major search engines. The company description section provides ample space to describe your business featuring the keywords and keyphrases by which you want to be found. in many cases Spotlight Professional Members’ profile pages are ranked higher than their primary sites.
In addition, as a highly ranked site itself, The Kitchen & Bath Channel provides a quality backlink to your primary site.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel operates active Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Google+ accounts. Spotlight Members are welcome and encouraged to send us quality project photos and videos to post on their behalf on these sites t to help drive traffic to the Kitchen & Bath Channel site and their profile page. These postings have been responsible for hundreds of visits to individual profile pages.
Once your join the Kitchen & Bath Channel, provide us a steady diet of project photos and videos, blog articles and maintain your profile (or ask us to do it)- swapping out pictures, freshening the description, etc.
The apps were originally developed specifically for consumers to use while out shopping. The concept (and we have all experienced it) is that a consumer is leaving a competitor’s showroom or big box store a bit frustrated that the meeting didn’t go as planned. The customer is more than ready to buy — in the buying mode, as they say — they just don’t know where to go. Using the app and its geo-location map, they find all the kitchen and bath pros within a 50 mile radius — choose you (as a subscriber, you are highlighted on the map), stop by your showroom and become your newest client!
The apps have grown and developed to include searches by zip code, products you carry, rooms you will (or will not) remodel, your professional expertise, your appellations and accreditations and more. But, only our Spotlight and Featured subscribers have the ability to be included in the searches by products, rooms, professional expertise and accreditations. These categories are selected when your complete your profile.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel was designed by industry marketing and design professionals explicitly as a way to help the kitchen and bath professional market themselves to the consumer utilizing the latest technologies AND at an affordable cost.
We do not rate or judge you, your abilities or capabilities. We simply provide multiple platforms from which you can market yourself to the consumer. We consider it a level playing field utilizing the latest technologies and providing you access at different price points.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel is an industry specific research tool for consumers, where our subscribers stand out from their competitors. It is like ALWAYS being first on a Google page at a fraction of the cost.
According to Flurry.com, a company that measures app usage, reported that we now spend more time each day with apps than we do with web browsers.
Plus, the Kitchen & Bath Channel is exclusive to independent kitchen and bath professionals – you will not find listings for the big boxes on the Kitchen & Bath Channel app or website – so you are not competing with them for position.
The Kitchen & Bath Channel directory includes over 15,000 Kitchen & Bath and Remodeling industry professionals with free listings. To stand out and receive additional benefits, a subscription is recommended. The chart below outlines the benefits for Featured and Spotlight Subscribers, as of today.

Our mission is to keep up with the latest technologies and marketing trends and be able to offer them to the kitchen and bath industry as part of the Kitchen & Bath Channel suite of marketing tools. The best way to keep up with us is via your subscription, but short of that – email us to receive our emails @ firstname.lastname@example.org
The Kitchen & Bath Channel has kicked off a multi-tiered campaign that reduces dependencies on any one medium.
And we have been featured in hundreds of websites including the online versions of:
We consistently place full page ads in Signature Kitchens & Baths magazine, and have been in USA Today’s Home magazine.
We are hearing some early positive feedback from homeowners and will continue collecting this feedback to improve their buying experience!
Those who download the app will do so because they are in the market to remodel their kitchen or bathroom, in the same way they currently purchase a design magazine, search the internet, etc.
The app was designed to provide guidance to the homeowner looking for a local professional.
Our statistics show that the apps are used an average of 175 times each day. The industry assumes that the average homeowner remodels a kitchen or bath every 7 years. That’s 3 lifetimes in technology, so we would expect a homeowner to download the app once, and use it only a few times before finding you – the perfect professional for the job!
It is $300 annually for a Featured Subscription ($30/month if you opt to subscribe monthly) and $400 annually ($40/month if you opt to subscribe monthly) for a Spotlight Subscription. Subscriptions are priced at very affordable rates for a couple of reasons:
Many retailers are willing pay more than $400/lead for the early research stages of the buying cycle. Our app and search tools are geared to help homeowners find the best sources, provide impactful information to them narrow their choices and to search the app while in motion to buy! With your investment of $300 or $400 a year, one vanity sale more than recoups your investment.
Consider the following statistics. We found that there is a potential market of over $ 380 million in kitchen and bath remodeling business using the apps.
With over $ 1.3 million dollars of potential business using the app each week in your backyard, can you afford NOT to be found on The Kitchen & Bath Channel?
We can also point to a $100,000 project that is directly attributable to the Kitchen & Bath Channel App, as well as a number of showroom visits.
Yes. As we continue to improve our current products and add to the suite of marketing tools, subscription rates will increase. Our last increase was May 1, 2012. However, when you sign up at the current annual rate, you are locked in at that rate.
We may also offer “add-ons” at additional costs.
